Weekly Death Record

Clampitt - Enoch Clampitt, age 80 years, passed away at his home near Norman Station Sunday morning. His death was due to general infirmities.

Deceased was born to Mary and David Kindred(sic) February 23, 1849. He was married November 21, 1871. He is survived by the following children: Richard Clampitt of Richmond; Mrs. Eliza Scott, of Heltonville; Mrs. Bertha Wade, of Shelburn; Mrs. Leslie Maples, of Harrison, Ohio; Mrs. Hazel Fowler, of Norman Station; one sister, Mrs. Jack Lane, of Terra Haute and three brothers, John and Woodson Clampitt of Norman Station and Scott Clampitt, of Terra Haute.

Funeral services were held at the Liberty Christian Church Tuesday afternoon at 2 o'clock, the Rev. James Baldwin of Columbus officiating. Burial in the Liberty Cemetery.
