Ethel Ellis Bennett Clements, 91, 702 Bullock Place, the widow of Philip L. Clements, died Wed at Humana HospitaL
A native of MS; she attended Mississipi State College for Women Columbus, MS; she had been living in Lexington, KY; for over 60 years and had served as a volunteer at the Veterans Hospital Leestown Rd for over 25 years.
She was a longtime member of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd and on the Altar Guild.
She was the daughter of the late Dr. John William and Martha Patterson Bennett.
Her survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Coleman (Dorothy) Smith Lexington, KY; and Mrs. John A (Pat) Ewing Versailles, KY; a son, Philip L Clements, Jr., Paris, KY; 11 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
Gravesides services at 11 am Fri at the Lexington Cemetery.
Rev T Roger Scott and the Rev T Clarke Bloomfield will officiate.
There will be no visitation.
Kerr Brothers Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
Memorials are suggested to the Church of the Good Shepherd.
