Mrs. Uda(Vie)Bish Johns, 75, Templeton, died yesterday, Jan.10, 1971 at 11:50 a.m. in Armstrong County Memorial Hospital. A member of the Templeton Methodist Church, Mrs. Johns had served as superintendent of the primary department of the church's Sunday School. Born May 3, 1895, the daughter of Samuel and Iona (Wolfe) Bish, she was the widow of Jesse Johns. Surviving are one step daughter, Mrs. Boyd (Martha) Croyle, Franklin; two sisters, Mrs. Lottie Jack, Adrian and Mrs. Ben (Ruby)Fox, Templeton; two brothers Russell, Templeton, and Edwin, Warren, OH. Friends will be received after 7 p.m at the F. Duane Snyder Funeral Home, Kittanning and from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m., Tuesday. Friends will also be received at the Templeton Methodist Church, where funeral services, with Rev. Scott Shaffer, pastor officiating, will be held at 1:30 p.m. Burial will follow in Kellersburg Methodist Methodist Cemetery.
