Spouse: William David HaddockMy grandmother was about 5'1" and weighed approximately 125. She was dark headed and brown eyed. A very dainty voice. She was kind, simple, loving, and hardworking.

She married William David Haddock on June 17, 1923 in Commerce, Texas. He was 10 yrs her Senior. After David died she still had 4 small children to raise on her own - she cleaned houses, cleaned the Telephone office, and ironed for the public to pay bills and feed her children.

She remarried only after all her children were married and had children of their own. It was in 1965 to Harmon Lemons.

She died of Hodgkin's Disease. Jones Funeral Home held the services in Commerce, Texas at 2pm on November 29, 1967. Services were rendered by Rev C M Simmons and Rev B J Bell. Pallbearers were: Milford Arrington, Homer and John Brunson, James Belcher, Bobby and CB Pickle, Raymond Riddle, and Ohmar Porter.
