Cleveland Dennis survivors include sisters Della Mathias adn Mable Hamilton of Gainesville, Texas; Myrtle Hendricks and Frances Roberts ob Lansing, Michigan; a brother, Walter Dennis of Gainesville; eight children, nineteen grandchildren, one great grandchild and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Services were held on Saturday, May 29, 1999 at 2 p.m. in the First Baptist Church of Gainesville Texas with the Rev. Frank Lorne officiating. Pallbearers were Michael Stewart, Lawrence Lorne, Robyn Byars, Rudolph Kemp, Samuel Johnson, Gary Mack. Honorary pallbearers were J.C. Flowers, Sean Stewart, Ruben Bradley and Ernest L. Florie.
