Mrs Bessie McConnehea, aged 36 years, died Tuesday night at her home. She had been confined to her bed for the last 3 or 4 months suffering from a complication of diseases. Her health had been poor for nearly five years.
Besides her husband, Reuben, who is employed at the Urbana Packing Companys plant, she leaves five children. They are Mary, Ella, Robert, Gladys and Willard of of whom reside at home. One son Nelson died in infancy. She is also survived by her parents Mr and Mrs Emanuel Ropp of near Hagenbuch Station, eight brothers and one sister. The brothers and sister all of whom live in Champaign County are Pearl, Joseph, John, Griffith, Nelson, Ralph, Clifford, Elmer and Miss Edith Ropp.
