Bert Reames, 93, formerly of Pulaski County, died at 5:05 a.m. today in Chase Center.

Born Oct. 27, 1897, in White County, he was the son of William and Mary Howard Reames. In 1918, he was married to Hazel Swartzel, who died in 1966.

He had been employed as a carpenter.

He was a member of the Logansport Eagles Lodge, and a Moose lodge in Florida.

Surviving are one son, Robert, Englewood, Fla.; one daughter, Doris Auker, 1525 Smead St.; two sisters, Opal Showley, Homosassa, Fla., and Dot Keller, Port Townsend, Wash.; seven grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren;
12 great-grandchildren; two stepgreat-grandchildren; two greatgreat-grandchildren; and five stepgreat-great-grandchildren.

Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Saturday in Marocco Funeral Chapel, with the Rev. Alvin Rockey officiating.
Burial will be in Pro Cemetery in Pulaski County.

Friends may call from 4 to 8 p.m. Friday in the funeral chapel.
