Peter A. L. Quick, son of John B. Quick & Diana Rosenkrans, was born in the 'Half Way' house on the Port Jervis road near Dingmans Ferry. He married Catherine A. "Kate" Angle on April 18, 1859. They farmed at Shocopee, north of Milford, where they resided until 1874 when they removed to Milford. In 1879 they removed to Port Jervis, New York. Peter Quick purchased 'Manor Hall' where he resided at the time of his death. The following children were born to this union: Emma J., born in 1859, married George R. Snelling. They lived in Topeka, Kansas; Ada born in 1861 and died in 1863; Margaret A, "Maggie", born in March, 1862 married John William Nyce of Caldwell, Kansas on May 18, 1881; Freddie C., born in 1863; Flora A., born in 1869 married William R. Conner of Caldwell Kansas; Lafayette Westbrook, born on Jan 24 1866 married Caroline Dingman Kilsby on March 31, 1891; and Lena A., born in 1873 married William C Herrick in 1913 in Welland Ontario Canada. William was a lumberman in Milford, Pennsylvania.
