AURORA, Colo. - Omar Cecil Robinson, 25, formerly of Borger, was shot to death at his home early Thursday morning.

His wife, Peggy, 37, has been arrested and is expected to be charged with first degree murder. No bond had been set and she was still in the custody of the Aurora Police Department this morning. She is expected to be arraigned Tuesday.

The incident reportedly occurred at 5 a.m. Thursday while Robinson was sleeping.

An Aurora county coroner pronounced Robinson dead at the scene.

Mr. Robinson had lived in Aurora for about a year. He was a carpenter. He was born June 28, 1953 at Borger, where he was raised.

Services are pending with Minton Mortuary.

Surviving are his father, Omar Sr. of Borger; his mother, Carole Robinson of Borger; two sisters, Jamie and Suzanne, both of Borger; two step-brothers, Larry and Timmy Brown, both of Borger; two grandmothers, Mrs. Florence Reynolds of Amarillo and Mrs. Freeda Black of Borger.

The family will be at 617 1/2 Monroe.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday for Omar Cecil Robinson Jr, 25, at Keeler Baptist Church. The Rev. Rue Scott, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park Cemetery under the direction of Minton Mortuary.

Survivors include his father, mother, two sisters, two step-brothers, and two grandmothers.
