Wilfred J. Ansell, 74, died this morning at his home in Lee twp. Funeral arrangements, which are being made by the Court funeral home, will be carried in the Thursday issue of the Chronicle.

Wilfred Ansell Died Wednesday In Rural Home
---Wilfred J. Ansell, Route 3, Lee twp., died unexpectedly at his home Wednesday morning at 10:30 o'clock. He had been in failing health for about a year.
---Born Feb. 9, 1893, in Lee twp., he was the son of Richard and Sarah (Hookway) Ansell. He was married to Mary Coats in Marshall on Aug. 19, 1914, and she preceded him in death April 23, 1966.
---He was engaged in farming in Lee twp. on his own farm all of his life and was a member of the Farm Bureau.
---Survivors are three daughters, Mrs. Robert (Lettie) Williams, Route 3, Mrs. Viola Gallihugh, Marshall, and Mrs. Harry (June) Moreland, 1100 Verona rd.; nine grandchildren and 18 great grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Claude (Annabelle) Sebastian of Cadillac; several nieces and nephews. One son, Alfred R. Ansell, preceded him in death in 1965.
