Henry C. Voss of Dallas, Texas, a native of Quincy, died Wednesday afternoon, following a stroke. Word came in a telephone message to his brother and sister in law, Mr. and Mrs. Charles L. Voss, 1020 South Twenty-first. Funeral services will be held Friday in Dallas.
Mr. Voss, as a youth in Quincy, worked for local newspapers and also as an agent for Chicago and St. Louis newspapers. His brother, Charles L., and the late Emil Voss, also were with newspapers here.
Henry Voss was born eighty years ago, and was married here to Katherine Waack. They have lived in Dallas for nearly forty years. There, Mr. Voss entered the insurance business, being active until his death.
Surviving are the widow; four children; a number of grandchildren, and a sister, Mrs. William Hildenbrand of Tonkawa, Oklahoma. Emil Voss, a pressman for newspapers here, died in Ottumwa, Iowa, several years ago.
