Margaret R. Clarke, 90, of Lawrence Township died on Monday, March 22, 2010, after a brief illness at the South Jersey Healthcare Regional Medical Center in Vineland.
Born in Millville, she was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Clarke had worked for the Fashion Shop on High Street in Millville for many years as a sales clerk. She then worked and retired from Prudential in Millville, working as a data processor. Mrs. Clarke enjoyed painting, sewing and playing the keyboard. She also loved to camp in and around the South Jersey area.
She is survived by her sons, Donald A. Clarke and his wife Arlene, and Steve B. Clarke of Millville. Mrs. Clarke also is survived by her grandchildren, Daniel, Derek, Donald Clarke and Robin Nicke; and great-grandchildren, Meaghan, Andrew Clarke and Justin Nicke. She was pre-deceased by her husband, Albert; daughter, Carol; and six sisters and two brothers.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday in the Rocap Shannon Memorial Funeral Home.
Burial will follow in the Mount Pleasant Cemetery.
