Funeral services for Mrs. Allie C. Chadwick, 87, of 915 Timea St., who died Monday, Aug. 30 at the River Hills Nursing Home, will be held Friday at 1: 30 p.m. at the DeJong Funeral Home with the Rev. R. Terry Halstead officiating. Burial will be in the Sunset Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be after 4 p.m. Wednesday, and the family will meet with friends on Thursday from 7 to 9 p.m. She was born Aug. 31, 1894, at Novelty, Mo., the daughter of James and Mary C. Hunsaker Hunter. She married Roy E. Chadwick in 1910 at Quincy, Ill. She had been a resident of Keokuk since 1910 and was employed for a number of years at S.S. Kresge in sales and later as assistant manager. She was a member of the First Christian Church. Survivors include a son, Don L. Chadwick of Keokuk, three daughters, Mrs. George (Lois) Geltz of Keokuk, Mrs. Jack (Bernice) Adams of Council Bluffs, and Mrs. James (Marjorie) Andrews of Ames; eight grandchildren and four great-grandchildren.
