Shrode, Pauline Neal Pauline Neal Shrode of Christian Care Center in Mesquite, Texas passed from this life on June 13, 2009 at the age of 94 years 10 months. Mrs. Shrode was born in Hopkins County, Texas on August 8, 1914 to Joseph Andrew and Mittie Caffey Neal. She is preceded in death by her loving husband of 62 years, Dennis Wayne Shrode. She is also preceded in death by three sisters and five brothers. Mrs. Shrode was a life long member of the Church of Christ. Mrs. Shrode is survived by one daughter, Norma Shrode Galbraith of Plano, Texas; two grandchildren, Sherri Galbraith Morgan and husband, Rex, DC of Kermit, Texas; Larry Galbraith and wife, Andrea of Dallas, Texas; five great grandchildren-Calan Morgan and wife Tracy of Houston, Texas, Attalie Morgan of Frisco, Texas, Micah Morgan of Houston, Texas, Lauren Galbraith and Nicholas Galbraith of Dallas, Texas. She is also survived by one brother, Haywood Neal and wife, Aleen, of Red Oak, Texas, and four sisters-in-law - Lucille Neal of Gunter, TX, Sue Neal of Mesquite, TX, Grace Shrode McClendon of Mesquite, TX, and Thelma Shrode of Sulphur Springs, TX., as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be in the chapel at Christian Care Center at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday, June 16, 2009. The family will receive visitors from 1:00 pm to 1:45 pm in the chapel prior to the funeral service. Interment will be immediately following at Grove Hill Cemetery, Dallas. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorial contributions be made to Christian Care Center.
