Valynn Christiansen Huntsman, age 63, passed away May 29, 1995 at Castleview Hospital.

Born August 20, 1931 in Kenilworth, Utah, the daughter of Athol Clifford and Gladys Maude Hedenberg Christiansen. Married Lynn P. Huntsman, March 15, 1952 in Las Vegas, Nevada. Member of the LDS Church. Graduated Carbon High School and was co-chairperson of the Reunion Committee Class of 1949. Former resident of Sunnyside, Eagle Mt., Calif.; Green River, Wyoming, and the past 24 years of Price.A talented artist and winner of many blue ribbons and other awards of both local and state competitions. She was past president of Price Ladies of Elks and past chairman of Utah Coal Section WAAIME. An animal lover, Valynn always looked out for their well being, and her motto in life was that "I never met a dog I didn't like".

Survived by husband, Lynn, of Price; a son and two daughters, Dale Keith Huntsman, Price; Holly and Jeff Wright, Salt Lake City; Nori Huntsman and Hunter Finch, West Valley; sister, Beverly C. Butler, Bradshaw, Nebraska. Preceded in death by parents, brother, Kent "Swede" Christiansen.

Funeral services will be at Mitchell's Funeral Home, Wednesday evening from 7-8 p.m. and Thursday one hour prior to services. Interment, Price City Cemetery.
