Lad Drowned.
On the 27th ult., a son of Mr. John H. MILLS, aged 11 years, while bathing in company with several boys about his own age in [a] pool near Mauson's School house, got beyond his depth, and was drowned. In the pool was an old well about five feet deep, the existence of which the boys were unaware, and the little fellow, getting into it, his playmates were unable to rescue him.
Note: The name of John Mill's son was Charles W. MILLS.
