Copied from The Lewiston Daily Sun / December 6, 1907 "News of the death of Mrs. Hannah B. Day in Oakland, California, Sunday has been received by her grandaughter, Mrs. Mary B. Sawyer of Bath. She was the widow of Capt. Thomas Day of Brunswick and they removed to Bath in 1849. From 1875 to 1887 she lived on Seguin Island where her husband was keeper of the lighthouse. She then moved to South Brunswick where she resided until after the death of the captain. Mrs. Day then went to California to live with her daughter."
