Madison County Leader – Thursday, May 31, 1934
After months of intense suffering release came to Harold Parry at four o'clock this morning. On October 18, 1899, a son was born to John and Emma Edgar Parry, of Maynard, NY, whom they named Harold John. In time he became acquainted with Miss Fannie Spaulding of Erieville, who was in training in Utica hospital and eleven years ago they were married. They resided in Utica seven years and then purchased a farm south of Erieville. About a year ago in his work Mr. Parry strained his heart. His ambition kept him up for a time but for months he has been unable to do any work. He leaves a devoted wife, who has tenderly cared for him, three daughters and a son; besides his mother, a brother, Willard, and a sister, Mrs. Mary Appler, all of Utica. Mr. Parry was a good man, a good worker wherever he was placed; a man respected by all who knew him and one will be greatly missed. Funeral services will be held at his late home at 2:30 Wednesday afternoon with burial here. The family is assured of the sympathy of all.
