Content-6 Standish was the 2nd child of Israel-5 Standish, Jr. and his wife Lydia Smith.

6 STANDISH siblings: Lucinda, [Self], Lydia, John, Joseph, and Benjamin.

She married 1) William Crippen on March 3rd or 8th, 1796 in Greenfield, Saratoga , NY.

10 CRIPPEN children: Stephen, b. 6 Jan 1797; Isaac, b. 27 Jan. 1799; Laura, b. 29 Apr. 1801; Calvin,, b. 16 May 1803; Lucinda, b. 6 Nov. 1805; Ansel, b. 16 May 1808; Libbeus, b. 11 Sept. 1810; Betsey, b. 14 Aug. 1813; Lovisa, b. 21 March 1816; and Seth, b. 24 March 1819.

After her husband 1) William passed away on August 1, 1823, she married 2) Isaac Rowley Crippen, a cousin of William. No children.

When Content died, Isaac Rowley Crippen took her body to Eagle Harbor Cemetery to lie next to her first husband William Crippen in that cemetery.
