Just saw your memorial for Harvey buried in Filmore-Halstead Cemetery. I am researching North Bush Cemetery in Fulton Co., New York and in a 1978 cemetery project by the county historian Lewis Decker, Harvey is buried there. I personally did not see the stone when I photographed the cemetery two years ago but the date of death is the same, age at time of death is the same and transcription of the stone down to the number of kids is the same. Looks like someone moved Harvey since 1978 or at least the stone. I just thought you would find this interesting. Katherine

I just noticed that you have a memorial page to Harvey Brookins in the Filmore Halstead Cemetery with a picture of a head stone submitted by Shawn. There is also a note from Katherine dated 2015 stating that the North Bush Cemetery records state that Harvey Brookins is buried in that cemetery. She states that the stone or Harvey must have been moved. I have been to the North Bush Cemetery, I have a picture of Harvey’s gravestone, it is indeed in the North Bush Cemetery in Caroga NY. The stone in Filmore Halstead cemetery that mentions Harvey Brookins is a stone for Martha Griswold, Brookins, Lake, Gobel . It is a fabulous stone that gives her family history from birth to death. It does not imply that Harvey is buried in Filmore Halstead – just that he was Martha’s first husband. Would it be possible to correct the memorial page to reflect where Harvey is truly buried – as it is written now with Katherine’ note it is very confusing.
