Mrs. Kelly died Tuesday afternoon in a local nursing home following a lengthy illness.
She was born July 1, 1891 in Georgetown and married Littleton Norman Kelly of Brownwood July 19, 1913. She was a homemaker, a Baptist, and had lived most of her life in Brown County including eight years in Bangs.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Mildred Lewis of Blanket, Mrs. Exa Mae Vogel of Bangs, Mrs. Catherine Shugart of Ohio; three sons, Clyde Kelly of Springfield, Mass., Charles Kelly of Colorado Springs, Colo., Robert Kelly of Fort Worth; seven brothers, Ellis Skiles of Llano, Charles Skiles of Missouri, Alva Skiles of Murchison, Truman Skiles of Dallas, Robert Skiles of Portland, Ore., and A. J. Skiles and Albert Newton Skiles, both of San Antonio; two sisters, Mrs. Josephine Pierce of Alaska, Mrs. Elizabeth Buckner of Rockport; 25 grand-children; 35 great-grandchildren, and one great-great-grandchild.
Her husband [Littleton Norman Kelly] preceded her in death.
