Military graveside services for Dan Brower Phillips Sr., 94, of Temple will be 10 a.m. Tuesday in Holland Cemetery with the Rev. Allison Joyce officiating.
Mr. Phillips died Thursday, March 25, in a local veteran's home.
He was born on Feb. 21, 1916, to Dan and Twylah Cooley Phillips in Centerville, Iowa. He was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II serving, 1941-1945. He was member of First Christian Church in Temple and had been a Temple resident for 32 years.
Survivors include a son, Dan Phillips Jr. of Temple; and a sister, Mary Charles of Bloomfield, Iowa.
