Grace Lowe Franks, 93, of Greenville, widow of the late Doyle Franks, died March 22, 2010.
Born in Greenville, on May 7, 1916, she was a daughter of the late Martin Elijah and Ollie Emiline Buckner Lowe.

Mrs. Franks was a wonderful cook and homemaker who loved her family dearly. She was a member of Agnew Road Church of God.

She is survived by her daughters, Shirbie DeWees, Patricia Galloway and husband Dwane, all of Greenville; a step-daughter, Diane Wright and husband Lawrence of Seneca; eleven grandchildren; numerous great and great-great grandchildren, including a special great granddaughter, Amber M. Trotter; and a brother, Warren Lowe, of Greenville.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by her first husband, T.C. Bingham; her second husband, Robert L. Strange; daughters, Violet Bingham, and Gail Strange; sons, Thomas C. Bingham, Leroy Strange, Billy Bingham, and Jimmy Bingham; a sister, Mildred Drake; and four brothers, Alfred, Furman, Oliver and Jay Lowe.

The funeral service will be held at 3:00 p.m. on Thursday, March 25, 2010 at Agnew Road Church of God with burial following at Graceland Cemetery, West.
