Wade Beall was born June 14, 1922, in Ritchie, Maryland, to John Emory Beall and Pearl (Owens) Beall.

He grew up on the family farm as proud brother to 10 siblings Erma, Bessie, Mary, Alta, Louise, June, Calvin, Roy, Willard, and Linwood.

He attended the Ritchie School, and graduated from Marlboro High School in 1939.

Wade served in the United States Navy during World War II aboard the USS Reuben James and was honorably discharged in 1946.

He returned to farming after the war.

Wade was an excellent athlete and played baseball and soccer in school and as a semi-pro soccer player for the Prince Georges County, Maryland team during the 1950's.

Wade began his law enforcement career with the Prince Georges County, Maryland Police Department in 1951, eventually attaining the rank of corporal. He then moved on to the United States Marshals Service as a Deputy US Marshal in 1955. The Marshals Service played a large role in the country's historical events during Wade's time with the agency. Two of his many assignments included protecting Robert Kennedy and Watergate trial witnesses. He transferred to Houston in 1968 and retired in 1974.

Wade met Frances Harris (Jones) Beall in 1968 and they were married in 1969. The couple lived in Houston, Columbus, Stephenville, Eastland, and Abilene during their journey together.
