EX-LANCASTER RESIDENT KILLED BY TRUCK ON JOB
William S. Bouder, fifty-eight of 1013 Front St. Milton, PA. a former resident of Lancaster, was killed Wednesday morning when struck by a truck on Rt. 11, north of Northumberland.
State police said Bouder, employed by the State Highways Department as a flagman, was directing traffic at the site of a construction project when he was injured fatally.
Bouder, police said, was flagging traffic when the truck operated by a fellow highways employee, George Troxell, Milton R1, accidentally backed into him. The accident occurred at 11:15 am.
Served in Navy
A native of Lancaster, he was a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Reuben Bouder. For many years he assisted his father in the operation of an ice delivery route and also served in the U.S. Navy for four years.
About 20 years ago, the family said, he moved to Baltimore, MD. where he was engaged in construction work before moving to Milton about two and one-half years ago.
Surviving are his wife, A. Ruth Bouder; two sons, the Rev. Robert W., Milton; and John L., Baltimore; and two daughters, Miss Patricica, Chicago, ILL., and Mrs. Francis Beecher, Philipine Islands, and five grand-children.
Also surviving are four brothers, Reuben, Manheim, and Arthur, Jacob and Sherman all of Lancaster, and five sisters, Mrs. Callie Doll, Reading, Mrs. Margaret Skojec, Mrs. Rose Kneisley and Mrs. Mary Kneisley all of Lancaster and Ella Worley, of Manheim.

BOUDER-- Entered into rest in Morth Umberland County, on February 5, 1964, William S. Bouder, husband of A. Ruth Bouder, of 1013 Front St., Milton, PA., in his 59th year. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend the funeral from the Young Funeral Home, 317 East Orange St., Lancaster, on Saturday at 2 P.M. Interment in East Petersburg Mennonite Cemetery. There will be no viewing at the Funeral Home. Friends may call at the home of Mr. Bouder's sister, Mrs. Rose Kneisley, 622 East Madison St,. Friday evening.
