Sister M. Anunciata - Sister M. Annunciata passed away April 4 at St. Aloysius Sisters Convent, 5625 S. Magnolia avenue, in St. Louis. The cause of her death was a heart attack. She was 76 years old when she died. Sister Annunciata was born in Washington September 8, 1882, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. John G. Droege, pioneer residents of Washington. As a member of the School Sisters of Notre Dame, Sister Annunciata taught in parochial schools for the past 54 years. Her first teaching assignment was In Forney, Texas. She then taught in St. Louis for several years and also in Illinois schools. She had been teaching at St. Aloysius in St. Louis for the past four years. She is survived by a sister, Miss Agnes Droege, of this city, and many nieces and nephews. The Requiem Mass was read at St. Aloysius church. The burial was in the convent cemetery at the Motherhouse of Sancta Maria in Ripa.
