Virgie use to crochet doll clothes and had a collection of dolls that she dressed. She made clothes for her grandkids, and doll clothes too. She was always making something for someone.
Mrs Virginia Mason, 83, of Tulsa, Okla.,mother of Mrs. Marysue Houston of Conway, died Thursday(March 7, 1985)at a Tulsa hospital.
Born Oct. 28,1901, she was the daughter of the late Charles and Willie Davenport Lander.
Mrs Mason was the widow of Lonnie H. Mason and a member of Rose Hill United Methodist Church in Tulsa.
Survivors are a son, James Mason of Kittredge, Colo; four other daughters, Mrs Nelle Dudley of Moscow, Texas,Mrs Ruth Hamby, Mrs Doris Cook and Mrs Naomi Orrick of Tulsa; 18 grandchildren, 45 great-grandchildre and a great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be at 10 a.m., Monday, March 11, 1985 at Tulsa Whisenhunt Chapel. Rev. Udell Wolff will officiate. Burial will be Floral Haven Memorial Gardens in Tulsa.
