Mr. Ivory, 85, of Ashville RD 1 died at 2:20 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 4, 1980, at Mercy Hospital, following an extended illness.

Mr. Ivory retired as a farmer.

He was born May 13, 1904, in Ashville RD, the son of Edward and Catherine (McDermitt) Ivory.

Surviving are numerous nieces and nephews.

Mr. Ivory was a member of St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville.

Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Donald J. Gibbons Funeral Home, Ashville.

IVORY – The funeral of Charles M. Ivory of Ashville RD 1 will be held with a Mass of Christian Burial at 9 a.m. Monday in St. Thomas Catholic Church, Ashville, by the Rev. Albert Anselmi. Interment in church cemetery. Friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. today at the DONALD J. GIBBONS FUNERAL HOME, ASHVILLE, where a liturgical wake service will be held at 8 p.m. today. Preceded in death by brothers: Albert, Lemuel, Leroy and Gerald, and sisters: Mary Heess, Maude Sutton, Florence Cummings, Olive Shaffer, and Stella Scheirer.
