Dave is one of the two sons of Irving Lavern "Chris" Christensen and Hannah Evelyn Pearl Ritland. Wife: Mary Jean Kluver. Children: Lisa Ann Cook, Lori Jo Fillbach, and Craig David. Dave sold insurance for many years, but then started a successful truck-washing company. After his death his son Craig took over that business and made it even more successful.
Dave died of lung cancer. A portion of his cremains are buried here, and another portion in his home town of Elkader, Iowa.
