Richard T. White, Sr., 87 years old, died Thursday near Buck Lodge. He is survived by one son, Richard T. White, Jr., Buck Lodge, and one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Hays, Barnesville.

Obituary

Richard T. White, Sr., died on Thursday of last week at his home near Buck Lodge, aged 87 years. His death followed a long illness and was due to the infirmities of age.

He is survived by a son and a daughter; former County Commissioner Richard T. White, Jr., of Buck Lodge, and Mrs. Leonard I. Hays, of Barnesville.

Mr. White was for several years a member of the Board of County School Commissioners, but never held any other office.

The funeral took place Saturday morning from the family residence, the services being conducted by Rev. C. E. Burke, pastor of the Barnesville Baptist Church. Burial was in Monocacy Cemetery at Beallsville.
