This John Bryan is the son of John R Bryan and Louise Anderson, he is listed in the 1850 census as John W Bryan age 6 with the rest of his family. John W Bryan married Catherine "Kate" Corn in 1871 in Catoosa Co, Ga and they had three children, William Edgar Bryan b1872 in Ga, Mae Bryan b1875 in Ga and John Robert Bryan b1879 in Nashville, Tenn. I had often wondered why John W was buried there, but I read his mother was an Anderson and this cemetery carries that name.
The 1880 Catoosa Co census was taken in June, and John W's gravestone request states he died in Sept 1880, but I have not found him or his family living in Ga, some suspect they were in Tennessee as their last child John was born there.
