He was married to Luticia Chandler on Oct. 19, 1920, and she survives with one daughter, Mrs. Walter (Mae) Fowler, Marysville, And one son, DeWitt T. Gibbs Jr., Bellefontaine; four grandchildren and six great-grandchildren; two brothers, R.B. Gibbs, Marengo, and James Gibbs, Woodstock; one sister, Mrs. Elizabeth Farmer, Paintsville, Ky.
Funeral services will be held Saturday 1 p.m. at the Postle-Hale funeral home, Marysville, with Rev. Arnold Moore, North Lewisburg, in charge. Burial will be In Woodstock cemetery.
