Mrs. Maude Hill, a long time Wellington resident died in St. Joseph's Hospital at 10:45 p.m. Sunday, April 12. She was 82 years of age.
Mrs. Hill was born in Arkansas September 9, 1887. After coming to this area, she and her family lived in the Arlie community a number of years before moving to Wellington.
Surviving Mrs. Hill are a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Wiseman of Seattle, WA; four sons: Roy Hill and E. E. Hill of Andrews, Jack Hill of Wellington and Ted Hill, with the United States Air Force in Thailand.
Other survivors are three sisters, Mrs. L. G. Covey of New Deal, Mrs. R. J. Shrum of Denison and Mrs. Mamie Rains of Mount Pleasant.
There are 16 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren.
