~~Jaennie~~

Daughter of James P. Collins and Amelia Vann Collins.
She was born in Jacksonville, Madison County, Tenn. Brought to Crockett, Texas as a little girl. Raised in Crockett and married Franklin Gerald Edmiston.

They had two sons;
1. Frank Gerald Jr, b. 5 April 1875 who married Frankie Smith of Culpepper Co, Va.
They had one daughter, Jaennie Elizabeth Edmiston.

Frank Gerald, Jr. drowned in the Spring Creek Country Club (I believe to be in
Palestine, Texas) in 1922. I cannot find his burial spot, nor a death certificate on him.

His wife and daughter moved back to Virginia sometime thereafter.

2. Charles Lanier (Charlie) b. 25 Apr 1873. Married Harriett Isabella (Hattie Bell) Arledge of Crockett. (His bio on his memorial)

Jaennie is buried with her family in Glenwood Cemetery, Crockett, Texas.

Jaennie's husband Franklin Gerald died early in life as the result of an unsuccessful operation.
