"The sudden death of Mrs. Louisa Davis, wife of John W. Davis, occured at the home of the family in Cussewago Township Friday morning about 7 o'clock from paralysis, aged 62 years, Mrs. Davis had long lived in that township and had many friends who will mourn her death. She is survived by her husband and by one son and one daughter, Mrs. Clarance Eaton, and Alonzo Frantz, both of Edinboro. Six step-children also survive her, as do one brother and two sisters, Chas Leipart, Mosiertown; Mrs. John Harned, Edinboro and Mrs. Joseph McBride, Crossingville, Mrs. Davis was a member of the First Baptist Church of Mosiertown.
The funeral services will be held in that church Sunday morning at 11:30 o'clock and interment will be made in the Reichel Cemetery."
