SHORT ILLNESS FATAL

John Young Babgy, 75, Wichita Business Man for Years, Passes

John Young Bagby, 75, died yesterday at his home, 517 South Martinson, following a short illness. He had been in the real estate and insurance business here for many years.
Mr. Bagby was a member of the West Side Baptist church, lodge No. 345 of the I.O.O.F., Modern Woodmen of America and Royal Neighbors of America.

Survivors include his wife, Phebe, of the home; two daughters, Mrs. Edith Harrison, Pollock, Cal., and Miss Eunice Bagby, of the home; two sons, C. Art, 937 Coolidge, and Shirley, Seaside, Cal.; six sisters, Mrs. Anna Bridges, Mrs. Emma Collins and Mrs. Stella Gillespie, all of Fiskburg, Ky.; Mrs. Eva A. Elliott, of the home address, and Mrs. Laura Hicenbotham, and Mrs. W.H. Crain, both of Newport, Ky., and two brothers, Edward, Fiskburg, Ky., and David J., Newport, Ky.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 10 a.m. at West Side Baptist church with Rev. W.H. Johnson and Rev. C.C. Carnahan officiating. Burial will be in Wichita Park cemetery.
