Leo Wilfred Voudrien died at Valley Regional Hospital in Claremont, NH on September 11, 1995 after a long illness. He was born on October 1, 1914 in Saint Albans, VT; the son of Frank N and Helen Louise (Prue) Voudrien.

He had been a resident of Claremont since 1940. He worked for Goodyear Tire and Rubber Co in Windsor, VT and later for Dartmouth Woolen Mill in Claremont. He also operated his own trucking service for five years and finally retired from the Claremont School District after working as a custodian at the Middle School for nine years. For eight years following his retirement, he lived in Charlestown, NH. He later returned to Claremont in 1989. He was a former member of the Loyal Order of Moose Lodge No 1201 and the Polish American Citizens Club.

He married Ada Marion Flood on April 15, 1937 in St Albans, VT.

He was predeceased by sister Loretta Clark, brother Norman Voudrien, an infant sister Ella Voudrien, and two infant brothers Frank and Howard Voudrien.

Surviving is his wife; two daughters, Meredith Brodeur of Newport, NH and Betty Ripley of the Sullivan County Nursing Home in Unity, NH; six grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; two brothers Gaylord Voudrien of Keene, NH and Wallace Voudrien of Vergennes, VT; two half brothers Armand Voudrien of Anniston, AL and John Voudrien of Vergennes, VT; and five half sisters Janet Gebeau of Pawtucket, RI, Carol Dickerson of Alton, IL, Beverly Nolan of Vergennes, VT, Patricia Sharp of Columbia, SC, and Rosemary Miner of St Albans, VT.

Burial will be in Mountain View Cemetery.
