She had been a resident of Lyndonville, VT for about twenty years before coming to Claremont with her husband four years ago.
She married Ransom Carter on August 21, 1886 in Canaan, VT.
Surviving is her husband; two daughters Grace Harris of Lyndon Center, VT and Ruth Carter of Claremont; two sons Harold R Carter and Herman L Carter both of Lyndonville; two sisters and two brothers.
Burial is in Mtn View Cemetery.
