This is my beautiful Aunt Ruthie Mae. She is my Dad's oldest sister and the first child of John F. Silas and Ruby Pearl Wise Silas. When my Grandmother passed away at such a young age Aunt Ruthie stepped up and took wonderful care of not only her children but all of her brothers and sisters as well. And she did so with no complaints working hard to make a home for all of them. Aunt Ruthie was a devoted wife to her husband and loving mother to her children. And a true blessing to her many brothers and sisters. Things were not always easy for her but she had faith in God and her family. Always giving unselfishly. Aunt Ruthie is missed by all who knew her. Rest in God's soothing and gentle peace Aunt Ruth.
