Wabash--LESLIE JUNIOR SHOEMAKER, 75, died Sunday at Wabash Skilled Care Center.
Born in Wabash, he retired in 1985 from U.S. Gypsum, where he was the technical superintendent in the Wabash plant and plant manager in the Tacoma, Wash., plant.
Married Betty Lou Harrell on 28 August 1943 in Wabash County. Surviving are his wife, two daughters, Leslie Kaiser of Mishawaka and Carol Evenson of Greentown; a son, Frank of Puyallup, Wash.; six grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Services at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Grandstaff-Hentgen Main Street Chapel, with calling from 4 to 8 p.m. today. Burial in Falls Cemetery. Memorials to American Heart Association.
