Alfred Ray McCrady, 71, of Lexington, Indiana died Wednesday, March 24, 2010 at Clark Memorial Hospital in Jeffersonville, Indiana.

He was born March 25, 1938 in Salem, Indiana, the son of the late Albert Clinton and Edna (Witten) McCrady.

Alfred was married to Kay Frances (Gasaway) McCrady, who survives.

He was a retired employee of the old Scott Manufacturing Company in Scottsburg, Indiana for 30 years. He also worked for Stucker Fork Water Utility and attended the Kimberlin Creek Baptist Church in Scottsburg, Indiana.

Survivors in addition to his wife include two sons: Michael Ray & Marty Lee McCrady both of Lexington, Indiana; a brother: Larry McCrady of Austin, Indiana; three sisters: Doris Smith & Mary Ritchison both of Austin, Indiana and Rita Edwards of Madison, Indiana.

He is also survived by seven grandchildren and six great grandchildren

Alfred was preceded in death by a brother: Wayne McCrady and a sister.
