At Rest in Greenwood.
At 2 o’clock Friday afternoon the funeral of Mrs. Eva Huff-Warfield, wife of Charles T. Warfield, took place from the residence of Spencer Huff, 540 North Jackson street, and was largely attended. The funeral services were conducted by Rev. W.H.Penhallegon, and he preached a short funeral sermon. The remains were buried in Greenwood cemetery.
Music for the occasion was furnished by a trio composed of Barry Hodgin, Mrs. A.W.Conklin and Edward Spence. The pall bearers were W.J.Wayne, A.H.Missl, J.G. Elkin, George R. Bacon, C.L.Hovey and Brugh Werner. Mrs. Warfield is survived by her husband and four young children. Her health began to fail a year or more ago and in the fall her condition became such that her husband determined to go to the south, hoping that she would improve. They went to San Antonio where they expected to make their permanent home, but instead of improving Mrs. Warfield grew steadily worse.
Funeral services were held at San Antonio, Texas, last Tuesday at the First Presbyterian church of that city, Rev. Jones and Rev. Selles officiating. The remains were brought to this city immediately after the funeral.
