AnnaBelle Atchley Freeman, lovingly known as Aunt Mooch; passed away May 18, 2005. AnnaBelle was born October 6, 1916 to Mr. & Mrs. I.E. Atchley in Parker, Texas. She married Hersey D. Freeman on December 23, 1937 and lived in and around McKinney. AnnaBelle was preceded in death by her parents; husband and 7 siblings, Willie Mae Watson, Clarence Atchley, Bessie Marie Deal, Della Ellen Tomberlin, Kate Harmer, Martha Bernice Atchley, and Pearl McQuiddy. She is survived by her youngest sister, Myrtle Atchley Short and husband, Tillman of Greenville, Texas. Although AnnaBelle and Hersey had no children of their own they were surrounded by many loving nieces; nephews; great nieces and nephews. Funeral services will be held at 12:00 PM, Saturday, May 21, 2005 in the Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Chapel with Danny McQuiddy and Brian McQuiddy officiating. Interment will follow at Ridgeview Memorial Park. Visitation will be from 6:00 to 8:00 PM, Friday at Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home.
