Sarah immigrated to the US in 1914 at age 9. Jose and Sarah were married in 1923. In 1930 they lived at 518 Kansas St, El Paso, Texas.
She married Kenneth Barney on October 19, 1959 in Clifton, Arizona. After Ken graduated from the University of Arizona they moved to Glendale, California and shortly after to Corona, California where they raised their three children: John, Michael and Jeanette.
She was preceeded by her parents and one sister, Carmen who was born in 1929.
She leaves behind three sisters Josephine, Beatrice and Alice; sons John and Michael; daughter Jeanette, and her four grandchildren, Alex, Brooke, Emma and Jake.
