Elizabeth E. Januchowski,83,Michigan City passed away December 18,1992 at St. Anthony Hospital.
Mrs. Januchowski was born Jan.4,1909,in Springfield Twp.IN the daughter of Andrew and Stella (Prochniak)Jarka.On April 2,1935,in New Buffalo,she married Leo Januchowski,who died July 13,1963.
Surviving are three daughters,Delores Brinkman,Hueytown,AL,Patricia Finney and Phyllis Nekvasil both of Michigan City,IN.Nine Grandchildren,six great-grandchildren and two sisters,Frances Dreske,Nashville,IN and Threesa Walotka,Michigan city.A Granddaughter:Jean Patrica Nekvasil,six sisters and six brothers are deceased.
Mrs. Januchowski had worked as a clerk at Eastside Produce and also as a salesperson for WEFM for 14 years.She was member of St.Mary of the Lake Church,the St. Mary of the Lake Alter Society and she had served as a 4-H Leader and past member of Cinder Lane Home Extension.
Burial is in Swan Lake Memorial Cemetery,Michigan City.Ott/Haverstock Funeral Home handled the arrangements.
