MENOMONEE FALLS--- Henry W. Graser, a Menomonee Falls resident for 60 years, died yesterday at St. Joseph's hospital, Milwaukee, after a long illness.
Born may 11, 1880, in the town of New Berlin, Graser was the son of the late Frederick and Amelia (Kreutzer) Graser. He attended schools in the Muskego area and was confirmed in the German Reformed church south of Waukesha on Racine av.
As a young man, Graser left the farm and worked at a meat market in West Allis. About 1903 he established his own meat market and country route service in Menomonee Falls. In 1906 he married Ada M. Schmoyer, who died in 1952.
In his early days Graser took an interest in civic affairs, belonged to the Business Advancement assn. and was a member of the Menomonee Falls fire company for 49 years.
Survivors include a son, Lee M. of Menomonee Falls; a daughter, Mrs. Oleine M. Cooper of Tucson, Ariz. and a brother Frank A. of Grayslake, Ill.
Services will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Haack Funeral home, Menomonee Falls. Burial will be in Valhalla cemetery, Milwaukee.
