Melvin Curtis Flynn, 93, died Friday, January 19, 2007 in Colonial Nursing Home, Guthrie, Oklahoma. He was native of Loranger, and former resident of the Loranger-Hammond area for several years.
He is survived by one son, Gerald Flynn of Loranger; one daughter, Sharon Quave of Guthrie, Oklahoma; one brother, Cullie Flynn, Burbank, Calif.; four grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Philimine Mahnke Flynn; parents, Willie and Rosa (Lee) Flynn; one sister, Katie Joiner; four brothers, Dallas, Luther (Jim), Angus and O.D. Flynn.
Visitation will begin at 9 a.m. until the funeral at 10 a.m., Wednesday, January 24, 2007, at Oak Grove Church of God Chapel, Loranger (across from Zemurray Gardens, Highway 40). Ministers officiating are Bros. Ed Wilson and Michael Williamson. Geisler Funeral Home in charge of arrangements.
