Mrs. Hattie McCollum, wife of Wiley McCollum, died at her home on Greene St. Monday afternoon, September 21, aged 36 years of paralysis. She had been ill several months. Mrs. McCollum was a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. William P. (Elizabeth Loar) Phillips of Waynesburg and in 1898 was united in marriage with Wiley McCollum. They had resided in Waynesburg for ten years. She was a member of the M. P. Church and the Dorcas Sisters Society. She was highly esteemed. Beside her husband and parents, she is survived by the following brothers and sister: George and Harvey Phillips of Waynesburg, John of Porter Falls, W. V., William of Moundsville and Mrs. Jacob G. (Ida Dell) Jackson of Mannington, W. V.
