Noble V. Hoppe, 72, of 106 Milner-Del Rancho Village in Borger, died at 7:45 p.m. Tuesday at St. Anthony's Hospital in Amarillo.

A retired tool dresser for J.M. Huber Corporation, he was a native of Pharoah, Oklahoma and a Borger resident for 49 years.

He was a veteran of World War II, Army Air Force and a member of the First Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife, Ruth; two sons, Wayne Hoppe of Dallas and Tony Hoppe from Bartlesville, Oklahoma; one daughter, Susan Gardner of Moore, Oklahoma; two brothers, Charlie Hoppe of Altus, Oklahoma and Gene Hoppe of Dalhart and seven grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at the First Baptist Church with Gordon Mitchell, pastor of first Baptist and Rev. John Denton of the First Southern Baptist Church of Fritch, officiating.

Burial will be in Westlawn Memorial Park under the direction of Ed Brown & Sons Funeral Directors.

Pallbearers will be Paul Robinson, Gene McGough, Sonny Clayton, Randale Cowan, Dick Hatfield and W.D. Kay. Honorary bearers will be Jerrie Keith's Sunday School Class.
