ANITA L. VOELKER, 89, of Fort Wayne, died on Saturday, March 20, 2010, at her son's home in Seymour, Ind. Anita was born Aug. 30, 1920, in Fort Wayne, daughter of Louis and Louise Affolder. She retired from Lincoln Life and was a member of Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Concordia Seminary Guild, LWML, Federation of Lutheran Women and Loyal Service-Lincoln Life. On Aug. 10, 1940, she married Louis W. Voelker; he preceded her in death in September of 1990. She is survived by her son, Louis (Jean) Voelker of Seymour; a daughter, Sharon (Don) Turner; sisters, Pat Blomback and Dorothy Keeler, both of Fort Wayne; brother, Louis Affolder of Fort Wayne; six grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren. Memorial service is 2 p.m. Saturday, March 27, 2010, at Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, 6318 W. California Street, Fort Wayne, with visitation one hour prior at the church. Inurnment in Concordia Cemetery Gardens. Memorials may be made to Suburban Bethlehem Lutheran Church, Worship for Shut-Ins, S.t John (White Creek) Lutheran Church, Hospice of South Central Indiana or donor's choice.
